24-10-2011 :- "NSS Unit Inauguration" . The inauguration of the NSS unit of Thejus Engineering College was held on 20-10-2011. It was inaugurated by Mr.K.A.Khalith, programme coordinator, NSS Technical cell. The programme officer, Mr.Santo Sebastian, Asst.Professor, Department of civil engineering welcomed the gathering and Smt.Kalyani S Nair presided over the function. Prof.T.V.George, HOD, Department of civil engineering introduced the chief guest. Chief Guest Mr.K.A.Khalith addressed the students about the need and importance of service by the student community through NSS. Mr.Antony Palayoor (Member, Kadangode Gramapanchayath), Mrs.Shailaja Damodaran (PTA Vice President) were delivered felicitation address.Volunteer Secretary Mr.Ramsheed M.K. proposed vote of thanks.
24-10-2011 :- "Inauguration of Rotaract club" . Famous social worker and novelist Mrs. Sarah Joseph inaugurated the activities of Rotaract club (sponsored by Rotary club Kunnamkulam) in Thejus Engineering College on 21st October 2011. Principal Dr. K K Babu of Thejus Engineering College delivered Welcome address. Rtn. MPHF Madhusudhanan (Regional co-ordinator Rotaract club), DRCC Rtn. Kishore Ranganathan( Dist. Chair Rotaract), Rtn. O K Surendranath( Rotary President), Rtn. Dr. Balasubranian(Asst. Governer Rotract), Rtn. Balan,(Dist Director New Generation), Rtn. N N K Menon (Director New Generation), Rtn.Dr.B Susanth( Rotary Secretary), Dr. K K Mohanan (HOD, Applied Science & Humanities), Mr. Vipin Krishna.R( Asst. Professor EEE department) and Mr. Krishnakumar K.G(Student, President Rotaract club of in Thejus Engineering College) were addressed the gathering.
19-10-2011 :- CONGRATULATIONS !!!
Following students of Electrical & Electronics, Mr. Anand S.Menon (S5), Mr. Manu Mukundan(S3), Mr.Arun C.V (S3) and Mr.Roshin K.Prakash (S3) presented an excellent paper on “ Mars Habitat Design” on 10th October at VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram in connection with the World Space Week, and bagged the first prize.
18-10-2011 :- The Library of Thejus Engineering College Vellarakkad,Kunnamkulam (Thrissur District) has conducted a Book Exhibition on 11th and 12th of October 2011. The college Principal Dr. K.K Babu inaugurated the book exhibition. Heads of Department , Staff and Students actively participated in the exhibition. Librarian V.C John, Asst. Librarian Siji Jain, Library Assistants Prakasan I.B, Sandhya Balan were the co-ordinators of the programme.
