The Republic Day was celebrated in a grant manner at Thejus Engineering College. The flag was hoisted in the campus by Prof. K.V Venugopal, (HOD, Electronics and Communication Engg.). A Republic Day message was given by Prof.K.V.Venugopal and Dr. K.K Mohnan (HOD, Applied Science and Humanities). As the part of celebration, a free diabetes detection camp was organized by the Rotaract Club and NSS unit of Thejus Engineering College in the college campus. The Camp was headed by the Doctors and staff of ROYAL Hospital, Kunnamkulam. Around 150 peoples, residing near and around the college premises participated in the camp and made the camp a grand success. All the members activity participated in arranging such a wonderful camp.

17-01-2012 :- "Seminar on “Career prospects at University of Petroleum Energy Studies, Dehradun”. Sponsored by SB Global, saw delegates from industry and Education join together to discuss the advent of the carrier prospects at UPES and also the various courses offered by the university.
Led by an expert from the University, Dr. Nihal Anwar Siddiqui, Head of Safety and Environment, UPES, the main resource person for the seminar. The occasion was graced by the various department heads and other faculty members. The seminar focused on emerging technologies, their implementation and the career prospects of the courses offered by the university. This seminar gave an insight to our students on various courses and strong discussion forum was also there for the queries.
